ICT Receives UL and ULC Approval
ICT are pleased to announce that we have secured official UL and ULC approval for a range of our products.
The
Protege SE Integrated System Controller (PRT-CTRL-SE), Protege
Intelligent 2 Reader Expander (PRT-RDI2-PCB), Nano Proximity Card Reader
(PRX-NPROX), and Large Cabinet Enclosure (CAB-LARGE-UL) are now listed
to the UL 294 and CAN/ULC-S319-05 standards. These standards define the
requirements that apply to an access control system and/or accessory
equipment.
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is an independent
product safety certification organization responsible for accrediting
consumer products based upon criteria set in place by major consumer
safety organizations. UL certification lends credibility to a product
and its safety by establishing that it is deemed effective and safe for
use by testing those products based on rigorous standards. In order to
carry a UL certification mark, products must remain compliant with the
standards set by UL.
